Where do I park?
Christ the King Lutheran Church is located at 1207 Stampede Avenue in Cody. Parking is available in the paved church parking lot, the overflow lot adjacent to the church and on both sides of the street.
What is the dress code?
Appropriate dress ranges from casual attire suitable for church to formal attire, such as a suit and tie for men and dress for women.
What activities are there for my kids?
We do not offer a separate children's worship service, believing that families are strengthened in the faith when they attend the worship service together. September-May we offer 10:30am Sunday School for children preschool through 5th grade, and Youth Bible Study for 6th grade through high school.
May I take communion?
The Lord's Supper is celebrated at this congregation in the confession and glad confidence that, as He says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but His very Body and Blood to eat and to drink for the assurance of the forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with Him and with one another.
Our Lord invites to His table those who trust His words, repent of all sin, and set aside any refusal to forgive and love as He forgives and loves us, that they may show forth His death until He comes.
Because those who eat and drink our Lord's body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of faith which is confessed at this altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt, or who hold a confession differing from that of this congregation and the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, are asked to refrain from communing. If you have any questions, please speak with the pastor after the worship service.
